The Lawrence Room is inspired by the life and works of T E Lawrence immortalised in David Lean's film "Lawrence of Arabia".

T E Lawrence  was heavily involved in the First World War under Arabian skies. Pieces of art reflect Lawrence's life and the room features an original film poster from the 1962 Oscar winning film.

Terracotta colours and Egyptian cotton bed linen bring a warmth and comfort to your stay in this room.  The room has an ensuite shower room and tea and coffee making facilities, and like all our rooms - guest wifi.  More luxury than Lawrence could ever have imagined.

Rates for this room are €49 per person per night shared occupancy and €65 per night single occupancy.  Both rates include an extensive  breakfast with cooked items sourced locally, freshly prepared to your requirements.

"I had a very enjoyable stay at Number 56 and can heartily recommend it. Julie and David are superb hosts who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. By the end of my time there they were more like friends than proprietors. This is the place to stay!"
