Government Plans for The First World War Centenary

As we are now in 2014 this year marks 100 years since the start of the First World War. Within the UK government the Department for Culture, Media and Sport is leading plans to build a commemoration fitting of this significant milestone in world history, working alongside partners including Imperial War Museum, Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
